Daily Safety Requirements

Each day, we ask students and adults in our building to remember to do the following:
  • Wear your mask! This keeps us all safe and limits the spread of COVID-19.
  • Wash your hands! Washing hands frequently and using hand sanitizer keeps us all from spreading germs, including those that cause COVID-19.
  • Socially Distance! We ask that all students stay 3 feet apart whenever and where ever possible.
  • Get Vaccinated! For all adults (visitors and staff) we require proof of vaccination to come into the school beginning September 13th for visitors and September 27th for staff. This is a DOE policy. For students who are 12+ who want to participate in high-risk extracurricular activities such as theater, chorus, dance, and sports, the DOE requires vaccination. Activities during school will be limited to support more independent work and less vigorous activities.
Our classrooms are set up to support 3 feet distancing where ever possible. All classrooms have windows that can be open, a minimum of 2 air purifiers, and plenty of hand sanitizer.
Access to water!
We have one water fountain with a bottle filler with filtered water. We encourage student to bring a refillable container for water to limit the use of the water fountain.
Daily Sanitation
Our custodial staff sanitizes the school daily. Teachers and students are equipped with wipes to sanitize work stations and any shared materials in between uses. We discourage the sharing of materials such as writing utensils wherever possible.
If your child is in a class that is impacted by a community member who has tested positive for COVID-19, they will receive a at-home rapid test to take that day and then again 5 days later. See below for additional instructions in multiple languages!
