Daily Safety Requirements

Each day, we ask students and adults in our building to remember to do the following:
  • Wash your hands! Washing hands frequently and using hand sanitizer keeps us all from spreading germs, including those that cause COVID-19.

  • Get Vaccinated! For all adults (visitors and staff) we require proof of vaccination to come into the school. This is a DOE policy.

  • Let us know if you are not feeling well. Stay home if you are sick! Home testing kits are distributed monthly to support testing at home. Please let us know immediately if you test positive for COVID-19.

Students may opt to wear masks if they choose! This includes both N95 and surgical masks. Ski masks or other masks are NOT approved for school wear and are not useful in limiting the spread or protecting against COVID-19.

All classrooms have windows that can be open, a minimum of 2 air purifiers, and plenty of hand sanitizer.

Access to water!
We have two water fountains with bottle fillers with filtered water. We encourage student to bring a refillable container for water to limit the use of the water fountain.

Daily Sanitation
Our custodial staff cleans the school daily. Teachers and students are equipped with wipes to sanitize work stations and any shared materials in between uses. We discourage the sharing of materials such as writing utensils wherever possible.

COVID-19 RAPID TEST RESOURCES!

If your child is in a class that is impacted by a community member who has tested positive for COVID-19, they will receive a at-home rapid test to take that day and then again 5 days later. See below for additional instructions in multiple languages!
